The Benefits of Soymilk

When a lot of people hear the word, "Soy Milk" followed by the words, "It's good - you should try it" they cringe with unfamiliarity and their lips curl up resembling a face that Elvis might have made. Let your Taste-Buds assure you, soy milk really isn't bad! We've tried different soy milk's and the Silk soy milk brand remains a favorite.

For anyone who is lactose-intolerant, vegan or vegetarian, soy milk is a fantastic alternative to the milk you are not drinking! It contains a similar amount of protein, fat content, calcium and vitamins D & E as cow's milk, but unlike cow's milk, it is cholesterol free and has no saturated fat! It can also contain a fair amount of potassium  (which is necessary for the function in all living cells), riboflavin (a micro-nutrient more commonly known as B2 and aids in the metabolism of fats, carbs and proteins), and b12 (which is key for a properly functioning brain and nervous system)!

Aside from soy milk being good for you, it tastes good as well and comes in many flavor varieties and selections including vanilla, coffee, chocolate, light, wellness, organic and other functional food varieties such as yogurt, "creamer" and  even "egg" nog for the holidays (eggless, of course!).
